Embroidery where the light lands
KERVANNO makes everyday pieces built around one detail: a band of eyelet embroidery, placed where daylight will catch it. A scalloped hem on a plain top. A cuff that flares a little. A collar you can tie over a knit you already own.
We started from the way broderie anglaise looks by a window in the late morning — the holes throw small shadows, and the fabric reads as pattern rather than decoration. So we keep the embroidery to one edge of each piece and leave the rest calm. It means the clothes work with jeans, linen trousers and flat sandals, on a Tuesday as much as at a garden lunch.
Our skirts and eyelet bodices are lined. Our colours come from a florist’s bucket: warm white, butter, sage and a pale sky blue. Our bags and detachable details use the same embroidery, so a pouch or a pair of cuffs can carry the idea into the rest of your wardrobe.

The shape first
Each piece starts as a plain paper pattern. We decide the neckline, closure and length before any embroidery is placed.
One edge of eyelet
We choose a single place for the machine embroidery — a hem, a cuff, a yoke — and keep the colour list short: white, butter, sage and sky.
Lined where it matters
Skirts and eyelet bodices get a full lining, so the pattern reads clearly and the piece is comfortable to wear all day.
